For this project, I was challenged to integrate another element into my costume designs while keeping it set in the Roman Empire. This play is very comedic and satrical, so I decided to add an element of 1980s drag culture into my designs. I leaned into 1980s drag culture, but I kept the Roman element by adding white as a connecting color for everyone because most people think of Roman stuatues that are now white when they think of Rome.

Research
